POLICIES

At K9 Country Clips, the safety and comfort of every pet is our top priority. To provide a safe grooming environment, all pets are handled using professional grooming equipment and procedures. Please read the following before booking your appointment.

  • Pets will be safely tethered during grooming to prevent falls or injury while on the grooming table or in the bathing area.

  • Dogs are never left unattended on grooming tables, in tubs, or while tethered.

  • Grooming tools, restraints, and equipment are used only when necessary  and in accordance with industry safety standards.

  • For the safety of all pets and staff, some dogs may require additional handling support if they are nervous, elderly, have mobility issues, or display behaviors that could result in injury.

  • If a pet becomes overly stressed, aggressive, or poses a risk to themselves or others the grooming session may be stopped or modified at the groomers discretion.

  • Owners must inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, sensitivities, or behavioral concerns prior to their appointment.

  • Senior pets and pets with health concerns are groomed with extra care; however, grooming van be stressful and owners must acknowledge there may be inherent risks due to age or underlying health conditions.

  • In the event of an emergency, K9 Country Clips will seek veterinary care if the owner cannot be reached immediately, and the owner may be responsible for expenses incurred.

  • We strive to provide a calm, compassionate, and safe grooming experience and reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if it is in the best interest to the pets health, safety, or well being.

By scheduling an appointment, pet owners acknowledge and agree to these policies and understand that every precaution is taken to ensure their pets safety and comfort while in our care!

Vaccinations:

For the health and safety of all pets, K9 Country Clips requires all dogs to be current on Rabies and Distemper vaccines in accordance with Colorado state law. If your dog is unable to receive these vaccines due to a medical condition, we will accept and signed veterinary exemption letter. Proof of vaccines or exemption letter must be provided before your pets appointment. Proof of vaccines may be emailed to: k9countryclipsllc@gmail.com
